    Hi,

I used to have all addon domains on a single cPanel account.
Now I created a second one and moved most of my addon domains to this account.
Both accounts have there own IP's (the first one a dedicated, the second one uses my shared IP).

So there are 3 addon domains on the first IP and about 8 addon domains on my second one.

But when I do a reverse IP lookup, the deleted addon domains still show up on the first IP and they do not show up on the second one.

Does it simply take a while to update or is there something wrong?

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hello :)

Could you let us know the exact method you are using to determine the IP address of your addon domains? It's possible you are viewing cached records.

    Thank you.

    Hello, :)

when I loggin to the cPanel accounts, on the left side I can see "Dedicated IP Adress" for the first account and "Shared IP Adress" for the second one.

Or did I get you wrong?
I used yougetsignal.com (and also other online tools) to make the reverse IP lookup.

So this could be cached results?
How long will it take that results are updated?

    Thanks in advance!

The website you are using for the "reverse IP lookup" does not display live results. It's cached information gathered from search engines, per it's description.

If you want to check a specific IP address for a domain name, you could run a command such as:

    Code:
    # host domain.com
    Thank you.
