    Hello,

Recently we had two new servers ordered at our DC, they came with RHE 5.1, hardware techs updated to RHE 5.2 and the install cPanel.

Result was a perl broken system, no httpd/php binaries found, cPanel scripts not working, including easyapache.

DC techs said "...new servers that are provisioned with RedHat 5.2 will suffer from this issue..."

From the DC/RedHat they still have no fix for this. Is cPanel working on this?

    Thank you.

There are many servers on RHEL 5.2 using cPanel/WHM without issue, yet there are a small number that are. Our staff has looked into this issue earlier today and believe this issue may have been caused by some servers inadvertently downloading updates from a bad mirror.

In the meantime, anyone experiencing issues as a result of upgrading to RHEL 5.2 is welcome to submit a support ticket to us at: http://tickets.cpanel.net/submit
