Does anyone have ColdFusion 6.1 running on their cPanel server with RHEL 3 ?

I have a new cPanel server and it wont reboot after installing CFMX.

The server is reading at files quotas it is trying to rm /var/chkservd/monitor

    Perhaps a conflict with Tomcat?

I have CFMX 6.1 running fine on another RHEL server but Tomcat is disabled.

I don't even know for sure at this point if ColdFusion is the resaon the server won't reboot.

Can I disable Tomcat at the command line and if I do will it effect cPanel?

I'm not sure about your problem but we have CF MX 6.1 running on RHES 4 without any issues. But I wouldn't mix any other JSP application server with CF since both have the ability to run JSP pages so it might cause a conflict.

    Thanks.

Turned out to be a bad hard drive had corrupted file system.

New drive and new OS and new install got it working although it took awhile to find a JDBC driver that would let CF create data sources.
