    Is it normal to be missing the following from from my RHEL 3 installation?

    When i do a ls -la /bin i get the following highlighted in RED which means they are missing.

    lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 17 Oct 10 03:35 passwd -> ../usr/bin/passwd*
    -rwsr-xr-x 1 root root 68508 Sep 14 04:11 mount*
    -rwsr-x--- 1 root wheel 46156 Jul 22 11:25 su*

    /usr/sbin

    -r-s--x--- 1 root apache 10188 Sep 1 08:12 suexec*

    lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 4 Oct 10 04:28 sendmail -> exim*
    lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 4 Oct 10 04:03 runq -> exim*
    -rwsr-xr-x 1 root root 684876 Jul 28 07:17 exim*

    Why would they be missing from a new installation of RHEL 3 Ent.?

    Go on, have a guess
    No, it doesn't mean that they are missing. If you run them you'll see that they work just fine.
