We recently created an account with the domain name listed incorrectly as someurl.comaccident1

There is a DNS zone for this account, which I am unable to edit. I get an error saying "ignoring out-of-zone data" when attempting to change the domain to someurl.com.

The weird thing is the folder was created for this user in /home/someurl/ and we can access their virtual url fine. However, they have no account listed anywhere else in WHM, but we can get into their cPanel account.

    What gives?

    Try running /scripts/updateuserdomains

For future reference, if you make a typo when establishing an account - you can modify the account and change the domain on that screen. The modify account screen in WHM is the most reliable way to modify the domain associated with an account.

I'll try updateuserdomains. Modify Account is the first place I went, the user account doesn't show up in the list, nor does their domain. I wasn't the one that created the account, and only caught the error after one of the guys here came to me with a DNS issue for the client.
