I've recently had a bout of spam and a malware attack which sent from my emails causing my hosting to be suspended. WHen I reconnected, the last login IP address is showing as 1.x.x.x, which is apparently a datacenter in London and nothing to do with the webhost or anyone associated with my website.

Despite frequent password resets and contacting both my host and the company who own the above IP, that address is still shown.

I manage another account on the same server and that address doesn't show. Does anyone have any ideas as how this happens?

Maybe someone from support uses that IP?

    Hello,

I recommend consulting with your web hosting provider and asking to have that IP address scanned in additional server logs to help determine what actions are performed by that IP address.

    Thank you.
