Root Folder

    Does anybody know how to link files stored in the root folder to page stored in the public html folder. Eg save a index.html saved in the public html folder but the images of the index.html are saved on the root folder.

    Thanks for the help in advance.

    You can probably do it with a symlink.... but something tells me its probably not the best idea for security reasons....

    The default permissions on /root probably wouldn't allow it, and changing them to do so would indeed be a huge security risk. Better to move whatever files you need to some other directory.

    If you want to share files between accounts, I'd suggest making a shared directory in the home directory.
