Root in Wheel Group Users

    Just came across this post. Some of my servers show root in the Wheel Group Users - albeit in greyed out form. I didn't add them there, why would they be showing?

    Hello,

    I've moved this post to it's own thread.

    Could you verify if the "root" user appears under "Remove a user from the wheel group" or, under "Add a user to the wheel group"? Also, please post the output from the following commands:
