root ssh OK - https -> not OK

    Hi all,

    could anybody explain this ?

    I can't connect via https. Here is the log : /usr/local/cpanel/logs/login_log

    Code:
    <myip> - root [11/10/2014:13:49:00 -0000] "POST /login/?login_only=1 HTTP/1.1" FAILED LOGIN cpaneld: invalid cpanel user root (loadcpdata failed)
    invalid cpanel user root ???

    PS : my ip is whitlisted.

    There is no cPanel user named root.

    root user can login to WHM, and from there, if the proper settings enabled in Tweak Settings, access a cPanel users account of course. But, you would have no cPanel end user named root with his own account . It seems to me that's what you've tried to do here.

    Can you login as a normal user into a cPanel account?
    Can you login to WHM as root user?
