When the user tries to save an event in calendars in webmail/Roundcube they get a server Server Error! (Internal Server Error).
also give error trying to view. Where are the logs located to troubleshoot this issue?

Hey there! I'm sorry to hear about this issue with Roundcube on the machine! The first place I would look for information about this would be the cPanel error log at /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log.

You may also want to check the following locations for additional errors:

/var/cpanel/roundcube/log/errors
/home/username/logs/roundcube/errors.log

just replace "username" with the specific cPanel account you're working with.

Thank you. I honestly don't think the calendar is working for any of my users. I will look at the logs

When navigating to https://webmail.thatdomain.com:2080 it servers up the cert for the WHM domain and not a cert for webmail.thatdomain.com?

Thanks for the additional details. It seems like this may be some type of DNS issue instead of a problem with the Calendar tools on the system.

From the webserver itself, are you able to ping the webmail.thatdomain.com subdomain and get a result? If you have a firewall tool such as CSF installed, it would be worth disabling that for a few minutes while you try this week to see if that is related. You may also want to try adjusting the local DNS servers in /etc/resolv.conf to see if that changes the behavior of that connection check.

Great - that's an important clue for our troubleshooting.

My first guess would be that there is an issue with port 2080 in the firewall settings. You'll want to make sure all the necessary ports from this page are configured in the firewall to ensure everything will work properly:

It was the outbound 2080 port. CSF has it open inbound by default but not outbound. Thanks for pointing me in the right directions
