    Hello,

    Seem to have an issue where we can't get RoundCube to display the e-mails in 12-hour time format. Even though we've upgraded to the latest version of whm & cpanel. Also force updated RoundCube. have also checked the php time formats in the main.inc file and they're proper.

    Is this an impossibility, or are we missing something here?

    BTW. This is not limited to one server. Once I received the complaint, and attempted the updates, I also looked at this on other servers too. Same thing. 24 hour time formatting.

    Thanks in advance for any help,

    Ok, found my solution

    Hello all,
    as of this time I see 24 views but no replies, yes impatient I must be...
    but anyhow,

    Found the config file to change the email time display format in RoundCube.

    Unless my eyes deceive me, it seemed to differ from the generic RoundCube file named main.inc Much documentation I found said to alter the php time formats in main.inc, which didn't produce any result.

    We could guess that is because the generic install of many things is slightly different when packaged into CPanel.

    To change time format from 24-hr to 12-hr (an add AM/PM or am/pm) the file I found that did the job is
    /usr/local/cpanel/base/3rdparty/roundcube/config/main.inc.php

    Changed
    $rcmail_config['date_short'] = 'D H:i'; to
    $rcmail_config['date_short'] = 'D g:i A';

    Changed
    $rcmail_config['date_today'] = 'H:i'; to
    $rcmail_config['date_today'] = 'g:i A';

    I didn't even look to do anything for Long Date

    Now we'll wait and see if it becomes overwritten by any updates.
    If it is, then we could chattr +i the file, but then again, that could possibly have undesirable results if an update needs other stuff in that file to be changed.

    This issue of mine applied to CPanel 11.25.0-C46156 / WHM 11.25.0 X 3.9
    as well as WNM 11.26.16 Those are the only 2 versions I dealt with on this issue, but don't exclude the thought of other versions.
    Can't tell you the version of RoundCube, but it was the newest (by force update) as of this posting/reply.
