I'm using Roundcube on a hosted email plan and trying to configure a filter to assist with a spam issue.

I'm trying to create a filter based on body content.
However, the only options in the dropdown are:

Subject
From
To
...
Size.

I was rather hoping that using the ... dropdown, I could then use 'body contains', but this doesn't seem to work.
Can anyone shed any light on Roundcube and it's ability to filter on body content.
Unfortunately, the GUI is very limited

Intersting, I just enabled Roundcube on my server, just to look from a different angle, and don't even have the filtering feature in Roundcube.
It seems that filtering may be a plugin.

Hi @keat63

We don't actually support the filtering within roundcube that would be a customization. The Email Filters or Global Filters in cPanel>>Email do exactly the same thing and include a filter for body.

Thanks

The issue is, it's a hosted email plan that my father uses.
I have no cpanel or such, just a roundcube webmail login... thats it, nothing more.

Seems like the service provider 'Hover' have no interest.

'Thanks for reaching back, at this time I have no further ETA for Roundcube updates as discussed. Hover does not provide an alternative webmail solution, sorry!

I would advise keeping an eye on our Blog for future updates to be rolled out, or utilizing an application for more robust filtering capabilities:'

Hi @keat63

I'm not very familiar with the plugin you're referencing as it's not something cPanel supports. If the account has no cPanel and is using a customized version of Roundcube; the host isn't providing assistance you might check out roundcube's support forums as well: Roundcube Webmail Support
