    Hi,

I have recently noticed that the Roundcube icon is missing in the webmail page when you choose webmail client.
    Anyone with this problem?

I've tried to force update cpanel and Roundcube but that didn't help.

    Hello :)

We do have an issue that's been reported on:

    cPanel Update Breaks Roundcube

Are you experiencing any of the same issues from that thread, or is this simply isolated to the icon not appearing? If it's just the icon, please try updating cPanel to see if the issue persists.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

I am aware of it but Roundcube is working properly so far just the icon is missing.
I've tried to update cpanel - the update was successful but didn't fix the issue.

    Regards.

This might just be a browser cache issue. Have you tried clearing that, or another browser by chance?

I also thought so but it is not a browser cache issue for sure.

CPanel is searching the missing image from the following url:

    http://server:2095/3rdparty/roundcube/skins/classic/images/roundcube_logo.png

which in the file system is in:

    /usr/local/cpanel/base/3rdparty/roundcube/skins/classic/images/roundcube_logo.png

It turned out that the entire /classic/ folder was missing so I created it with the proper structure and the logo image in it and that fixed the problem.

However, this solution isn't good enough as we don't know the main reason behind the issue.

This is not fixed. I'm on 11.34 and my roundcube logo is still missing. It is looking for the skins/classic directory, but it doesn't exist!

upcp --force does NOT fix it.

Everything else works fine, just the roundcube logo on the webmail page is missing (the page where you choose either roundcube or squirrelmail)

You might want to open a ticket about this to see why your server has not updated properly, if thats the case.

I found out the reason. This is probably a bug, but I was able to manually fix it. Sometimes, when an email account gets deleted, the user is deleted from the roundcube mysql database... but sometimes the aliases and/or contacts for that user are NOT deleted from the roundcube mysql database.

So, when the database tries to update along with the roundcube application, the mysql contraints fail because the aliases and contacts are tied to the (missing) username (mysql constraints in the database). Then, the upgrade to roundcube 0.8 fails.

I simply went into the roundcube mysql database, deleted the contacts and aliases for users that no longer existed, and then it upgraded to 0.8 without issues, and the logos came back.
