Routing mail to remote server

I'm using the Exim server as my MTA and am hosting several domains on my VPS.

3 of those domains have remote mail servers to which I need to forward all email to.

I've managed to set up a router to forward all email to the remote server, but that is no good for the other 20 domains on the VPS.

How do I forward all the locally sent email for a select few domains to a remote server?

I have looked at the Exim manual but can't go testing things as this is a live server.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks :)

I've fixed it!

i was looking at setting up mail routers within the confog file.

There are two files in /etc 'localdomains' and 'remotedomains'. I just needed to edit these files to get it to work.

Hello :)

I am happy to hear you were able to resolve the issue. To note, if you want to ensure the domain name remains in the appropriate file, you can modify the "Email Routing" settings via "Edit a DNS Zone" in Web Host Manager.

Thank you.
