    Hello,

i found that "top" command returns %wa value of around 20% a few hours now.

and "iotop" returns this process amongst others on the top of the most i/o processes list:

So i want to ask what is this one and if i can somehow throttle its i/o usage, nice value automatically (i mean if its periodic task so i dont need to do it manually each time). Is it cron backup script? thx

Each night the status of installed cPanel RPMs is assessed to ensure there are no problems. You should be able to nice, or ionice, the process. It will just take longer to complete.
