rrdtool and gcc ieee math

Has anyone successfully installed rrdtool? We've been trying but are getting compile errors stating that our compiler does not support proper ieee math.

gcc version is 2.96

We cannot seem to get around this. gcc does work with -mieee

Any and all help is appreciated.

Me thinks I have bigger problems. Configure went for Image but make fails all over the place on /usr/include files.

Things like -

/usr/include/_G_config.h:28: parse error before `__off_t'
/usr/include/_G_config.h:28: warning: no semicolon at end of struct or union
/usr/include/_G_config.h:30: parse error before `}'
/usr/include/_G_config.h:30: warning: data definition has no type or storage class
/usr/include/_G_config.h:33: parse error before `__off64_t'
/usr/include/_G_config.h:33: warning: no semicolon at end of struct or union
/usr/include/_G_config.h:35: parse error before `}'
/usr/include/_G_config.h:35: warning: data definition has no type or storage class

works fine for me, try again, follow all steps and ignore errors..

Thanks Hormingo, the NOC and one of my guys are looking at the server because as of now, I cannot get software to compile properly on that box.

I did get working without issue on my other servers, so me thinks I have a foobared box. My only saving grace is that I have not started to put clients on it yet.

Thanks for the help though. I really like this rrd_tool.
