    Good day all.
We have two servers that we wish to use as a primary and backup CPanel/WHM system.

Can anyone provide information on which directories and files need to be transferred via Rsync between the two machines?

The thought is that we can Rsync the configs every 15 minutes or so, via a heartbeat cable, thus always having a current config available in case one machine goes down.

/home is on an external disk array, so that's covered; it's mainly conf files and such that need to by synched.

Alternatively, is anyone doinig something similiar with a different approach?

we run rsync on an entire server (scripts and home) I have tested it in the past and you cant just create directories, switch drives and expect the 2nd drive to work

How we setup our sync is both drives have its own os, as hda (primary drive) and we sync every 2-3 days all relvent config files and home

Drive 1 files, all we have to do is swap out the hard drives, drive two boots up just like a normal system
