How can I know if Ruby on Rail is installed on my Cpanel ?
AFAIK its only supported in EDGE.
The thing is that on that page: http://www.cpanel.net/products/cPanelandWHM/linux/cpanel11/integration.htm
It says that you just have to run /scripts/installruby. My version is WHM 11.2.0, cPanel 11.11.0-R16789,
REDHAT Enterprise 4 i686, so I was very exited about that (about confidence on that page), and ran /scripts/installruby it ran for some time, asked me couple of questions, then said that: "Ruby - & - Rails Installed". I was happy, however there's no rails executable which leaves me quite confused. And I was googling for an hour now, and I don't know what is a proper way to test if rails apps will run. If anybody has an idea please help.
Oh, now I understand. There's support for ruby, mogrel and gem installer only, you don't get RoR as such as would be useful for webapp development. Yay for advertisement!
