On one of our servers we are having issues with runaway apache processes. Basicly they end up using 100% of the CPU and cause server load to climb until the server is totally unresponsive to webrequests.

Sometimes its only 1 process taking up 99% of the CPU and other times its 2 or 3 or as many as 5 processes but the % of CPU they always consume is 99% or there about. So if it was 4 proccess they would each be using just under 25% cpu.

In WHM if I click trace on these proccess I could wait for 5 minutes and get nothing. Im having a hard time tracking down what page/script is causing these runaway processes. Over the last week it seems like we end up with 1 - 3 of these a day.

Simply killing them off takes care of the problem but it would be nice to know what client the proccess are serving and if possible what page/script in particular.
