Does anybody know how I can set up exim to run ONLY on port 26 and not also on port 25. Also, what potential problems will I run into with a setup like this (except having to explain customers that they have to send through port 26)

yes, it is possible to change the exim port to 26. Login to the server via SSH and access the file

Enter the below line at the top of the page

    Save and Exit

    Restart Exim on the server.

You are done ! Make sure you open the port 26 in the server firewall.
I don't think there might be any problems by changing the exim port as you are ready to explain your customers.

    It will work, but...

Only one problem with this. If exim isn't listening on port 25, it can not be contacted by other mail servers. So as long as you are ok with your customer's only getting mail from other customers no the same server, you're good. Other than that, you may want to reconsider this idea.
