Running Optimize EIDE Hard Drives on a VPS

    Before I click this button, I wanted to know if I should use this feature inside of a VPS environment.

    The question was poised to me by a friend, and I've never used it, so I'm not sure.

    I used the search, couldn't find anything matching the terms.

    The VPS host should have already optimized the drives. In that case, using this option WHM would not provide any benefit. The best thing to do is ask the host if they optimized the drives, and if they haven't, ask them if they can do so.
