I am fairly new to CPanel so bear with me.

I've been experiencing problems logging in to my control dashboard. All I get is a plain white window with this message written in black on it.

"Sorry for the inconvenience!
The filesystem mounted at / on this server is running out of disk space. cPanel operations have been temporarily suspended to prevent something bad from happening. Please ask your system admin to remove any files not in use on that partition."

I also cannot login through my FTP setup for the website.

There is no way I can login anywhere to even remove content to free up the space.

Has anyone else encountered this before? Does anyone have any advise or tips?

Thanks,
Patty

The root partition, which is the filesystem mounted at /, is full on the server that hosts your site, so you will need to ask your system admin to remove any files not in use on that partition. This is a problem with the server's hard drive being full, not your site. There is nothing you can do about it as a site owner. You need to ask your hosting provider to clear some space on the server's hard drive.

Thank you Jared.

I'm having a hard time reaching my system admin so I'm trying to figure things out on my own for now. As of right now, I am unsure as to who or what is my hosting provider. The domain names are with GoDaddy but I do not see anything about hosting the site with them.
I originally thought CPanel had something to do with hosting the site but like I mentioned in my previous post, I can't access anything or know where to login to clear the space.

Check your billing records to see who you are paying for hosting service. That is who you need to talk to.

We (cPanel, Inc.) only develop software that your host happens to use. We do not host your site or the server that your site is on. Because of that, no one in this forum has any access to the server to clear disk space. You need to talk to your hosting provider.

Again, the problem is not that you need to clear space. The problem is that the server as a whole is out of free disk space, and only your hosting provider can clear space on the server. This is a much bigger problem on the server, not a problem with your site.
