So, this (two factor auth via a Symantec service) has been out a few months now, is anyone using it? If so what is your experience? Are you using and happy with an alternative?

With regards cPanel itself, did the pluggable authentication system ever make it in or is this still in progress?

The feature request is still active at this time. There is currently no additional information regarding any planned implementation of such a feature.
