I just moved the mysql to a new partition.

Doing this has increased space, And performance.

Now I know the var/log can get quite big at times.. Now I have a nice 1TB drive whats only using the mysql, I'm thinking whats the safest way to move /var/log to /home/var safely without downtime ?

And what permission sets should be used when moving the mysql to /home/var/mysql ?

See I can move but its probably not the best, safest way, so need your ideas.

    Thanks
