SASL AUTHENTICATION EXTERNAL SMTP - CPANEL

Hi,

I need to configure external SMTP (smarthost) for my cPanel Server. My users connect to cPanel SMTP port with their credentials. How can i configure authentication for external SMTP like Postfix? It must be interesting to interconnect cPanel email user's credentials, with Postfix, allowing only the owner of the mailbox who is sending the email.
