I am trying to maximize space on the server. I am wondering, is there a space saving advantage if a user has add-on domains/websites on one cpanel account over having individual cpanel accounts for each domain/website

    Thanks!

    Hello SSmeredith,

Yes, there would be less space used if an account has addon domains rather than those domains being in their own individual cPanel accounts, since each account user has files outside of public_html for that user, including files for the user itself in /var/cpanel/users, /var/cpanel/userdata/, and other locations. It wouldn't be a huge space addition to have each domain have its own account, but there would be a slight increase in the space taken to do it that way over using addon domains.

    Thanks.
