    Hey,

Just wanted to know if its normal that, and why?:

1- Sometimes when I edit my news script with File Manager, the edit windows eats up the end of my codes, and adds <!---cPanel [7.2.1-STABLE_85] Copyright (c) 1997-2003 John N Koston. Licensed on servername---> and the save file as button disapears and its code appears in the text box with the code box... (THis only happens with a couple of my scripts...)

2- When I want to show some raw codes in HTML I use
    and it turns into a
when I want to edit it again, and some PERL scripts convert my
    into raw codes (viceversa).

hope you guys understand, thanks in advance,

    LuXien

The cpanel editor does that. It makes some unwanted conversions, just like some web page design programs do. The only way to make sure code stays the way you want is to either make or edit the page with a simple text editor.
