All of a suddent, all my ScriptAlias settings in the httpd.conf file stopped workined. I noticed it when I couldnt get to my WHM via /whm/ and I couldnt get to cpanel via /cpanel/ The only way I could get to it was by manually tying the port number

    http://www.domain.com:2086/

    and

    http://www.domain.com:2082/

Any one know why? My Aslias's in httpd.conf are working, but not ScriptAlias

I'm also having this issue - has only occurred over the past few days. I'm running
    WHM 11.15.0 cPanel 11.18.1-R20683

The following ScriptAliases ARE present in my httpd.conf but give a 500 internal server error when accessed.

    ScriptAlias /cgi-sys/ /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/
    ScriptAlias /cpanel /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/redirect.cgi
    ScriptAlias /whm /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/whmredirect.cgi
    ScriptAlias /securewhm /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/swhmredirect.cgi
    ScriptAlias /webmail /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/wredirect.cgi
    ScriptAlias /controlpanel /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/redirect.cgi
    ScriptAlias /securecontrolpanel /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/sredirect.cgi
    ScriptAlias /mailman/ /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/cgi-bin/
    ScriptAlias /scgi-bin /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/scgiwrap

    Regards

    Neil

    Try this:

    killall -9 httpd

    service httpd startssl

I dont know why, but my problem was fixed automatically without me doing anything.
It must not have been a problem with the httpd.conf file since I havent touched it in like 6 months, and it was working before, then stopped, then started working again.

Everything seems fine now, I just think its those random whm/cpanel auto updates that screw things up every once in a while.

    Thanks for the replies though.

I'm having the same problem and this is what is showing on my error_log:

[Sat Jan 24 12:05:52 2009] [error] [client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] Premature end of script headers: /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/whmredirect.cgi

that's for /whm but none of the cpanel ScriptAlias are working (and they are in the httpd.conf). Regular redirection with .htaccess are working fine.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance!
