It seems you need an account to get this nowadays and the above script can't get it from zend.com. Maybe cPanel needs to keep a local copy and change installzendopt to fetch it from cPanel...

Anyway it needs to be fixed, somebody might like to add it to bugzilla...
    I never have liked bugzilla.

Of course :) I try to be even-handed though you should see some of the PM's I get ;)

    Mike2Own, thanks for posting that.

I ended up just downlolading it from Zend and installing it directly as there's nothing troublesome about it.

ZendOpt install fails due to Zend website changed. But how long?

I've been "ticketing" cPanel team for an issue with Zend Optimizer installation, and I've been told that zend is modifying their website, sothis is why the installa doesn't work. This is ok, but, anyone knows if it's going to be restored? Or how long will be the downtime?

    Thanks & regards

You'll have to wait for cPanel to respond to your ticket for that information. In the meantime, you can download it youself and install it manually.

I don't know about 2.5.10 as I haven't tried that but certainly with 2.5.7 all you would need to is download, untar, cd into the directory and run ./install and follow the prompts.

All you have to do is to download the tarball, open it and run the install script insde the expanded directory.
