    It looks like httpupdate.cpanel.net is offline - I also can't reach layer1.cpanel.net & layer2.cpanel.net.

    Same problem here.

I can't reach any Cpanel update site.

    Code:
    Fetching http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/cpanelsync/RELEASE/scripts/.cpanelsync....Trying httpupdate.cpanel.net @ 69.72.164.151
    Unable to retrieve file
    ...Failed
Unable to connect to host httpupdate.cpanel.net
    Trying httpupdate.cpanel.net @ 69.72.164.152
Unable to connect to host httpupdate.cpanel.net
    ...Failed
    ...Done
Tried to download the sync file 10 times and failed!

I can't update Apache and Cpanel. I need to update Apache soon because now GD 2.0 is not installed.
2 minutes ago even the Cpanel site and forum didn't work

And WHM showed me this error:
Timeout while trying to fetch http://web.cpanel.net/whmnews/nph-index.cgi?version=9.9.9-STABLE_15&os=Linux&osver=2.6.10-1.8_FC2...[an error or timeout occurred while processing this directive]Unable to fetch Web Host Manager news. The News server may be down or unreachable.

Timeout while trying to fetch http://layer1.cpanel.net/buildapache.rc...[an error or timeout occurred while processing this directive]There was an error while fetching http://layer1.cpanel.net/buildapache.rc

Cpanel seems to have some server problems.
