    Hello,

    I run /scripts/userps many times in a day to see the processes of users. Output is numbers but I do not know the critical limit of this number. For example;

    # /scripts/userps
    askikiya: 19
    erenet: 45
    gamend: 17
    gencforu: 4
    kardesle: 3
    nogay: 2
    soldattr: 2
    ucretsiz: 5

    Should I suspend the user "erenet"? What is the normal value of this number? Can you inform me?

    Thanks
    Melih

    Go on, have a guess
    If you look in the script it appears to be simply counting up the number of PIDs that have files open on a particular users /home directory. Beyond that, it has not other meaning, you'd have to dig deeper into the running processes and what they are doing.
