Search term for Forum is minimum 4 letters ??

    Hi,

    Nick you may wanna change the search mini word length from 4 to 2 or 3 , we can't do search on 'ftp' or 'etc' or other key words on the forum, whats the point of forum if those searches are painfull.

    Please change minimum letter length from 4 to 2.

    I agree, this would make searches much more useful thus reducing the number of duplicated threads.

    Yeah, I tried to do a search on FTP just yesterday...Glad someone else feels the same way.

    I agree too... it's hard to search for error codes/lines using the search function. It worked well in phpBB though. That's the main use of these forums, is to search for a solution to a problem... and of course to provide help to others :).

    If you need to search for three letter, e.g. FTP, you could use a wilcard to push it to four characters, e.g. FTP*. ;)
