    Hi!

I have this new server, and I managed to set it up with your helg, guys, Thank you!

And I have another question: I have the main shared ip, on wich I have about 10 domains. And I want to put another 10 domains on another ip. Can I have that second shared ip on the same server? How can I do that?

Thank you verry much for all help!

This is possible and in fact easy to do with. However, first you need the second IP address. You should check:

WHM -> IP Functions -> Show or Delete Current IP Addresses

This will show you the IP addresses that your server has. If there is only one in there then you will need to contact the server provider to allocate you another.

Once your system has the additional IP then you can change the existing accounts IP one at a time by going:

WHM -> Account Functions -> Change Site's IP Address

or you can do several at once by going:

WHM -> Multi-Account Functions -> Change Multiple Sites' IP Addresses

You can have as many sites as you want on the the primary IP and on other IP addresses.

    Thank you!

I tried that and it doesn't allow it, it say: "Sorry, my_ip is in use by another domain name and is not a shared ip."

How do I make it a shared ip?

    Thank you!

How many IP's does your server have? What does:

WHM -> IP Functions -> Show IP Address Usage

say? Is there another domains using your secondary IP?

I am having this same problem. I have 100 accounts on a shared IP. I can change an account to use a secondary IP, but if I try to change a second account to also use the secondary IP, Cpanel gives the error saying it is not a shared IP.

ok here is how to do that

add the ip to the server

add a reseller and assign the new ip to the reseller as the main shared ip for that reseller and then add the domains to the reseller and do a ip change to the reseller shared ip

    Thanks for the help Dave.

In case anyone else runs across this, you have to specify this as a SHARED IP for the reseller, not just delegate the IP to the reseller.
