I wanted to setup my cpanel servers to use different servers for secondary and/or primary dns. From reading the forums, etc it appears that the only real way to do this effectively is to run cpanel on every server and therefore buy cpanel licenses on each of those other machines.

Is this true? Is there a "dns only" version of cpanel that I can purchase so I don't have to buy the entire license with features I can't use? Does anyone else have other methods that can be used to synchronize dns other than the built in cpanel functions?

    Thanks,
