Im wondering what everyone would consider to be currently the securest generic perl and PHP formmail scripts?

I have clients that have been using Jacks 5.x for php and NMS FormMail for perl

but i suspect these are tne securest (especially jacks)

what does everyone recommend as secure and suitable replacements?

nms is the only one I have heard of that is secure from spammers. It also has the best instructions (with examples) that I have ever seen in any perl script.

I am not sure there really is a secure php form mailer. I haven't heard of this jacks script you mentioned. I will have to look at that, but I have been asking my clients to not use any php form mailer.
They just allow spammers too easilly, but I will look at jacks. Perhaps they found a way to stop the abusers - or at least some of them.

Will Cpanel consider implementing the NMS version of FormMail directly into the control panel so we may have a more secure version of FormMail please? :)

I did a quick read-thru on NMS's script help and must agree that its help is certainly one of the most comprehensive I've seen.

AFAIK, there're no issues with the cPanel binary one provided. If you want to make an enhancement request to cPanel you need to log it as such in bugzilla.

How would I include this script in my cPanel?

I'd love to have something which could replace the current FormMail.cgi, and is available system wide
