Hello. I have a VPS with cPanel that I'm currently using. I only use SMTP authentication to send e-mails from php with phpmailer and my windows VPS.

I've heard that thre're some websites that can be hacked, and have access to the SMTP service to send spam.
Is there any way I can secure my server?, or maybe only allow outbound emails from localhost & my server's IP?

Is there anything I should do to prevent & secure my server?.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I would suggest to install CSF firewall, do their security check and fix most of the options. That would make server more secure.
