I'm new to this and I can't seem to find the answer to:

How do I install SSL on the WHM/Cpanel so its more secure?

I see where you can "change/cpanelWHM cert" but what are the steps?

I know how to use the search function just fine. The answer you pointed out does not answer my question. I need to know the steps to add SSL to CPANEL/WHM not individual sites, but the actual software which cotrols my server. I'm a little uncormfortable sending passwords to my control panel unencrypted.

Darn, have I got news for you! :)

Openssl is already installed.

To log securely into a controlpanel: https://yourdomain.com:2083

To log securely into WHM: https://yourdomain.com:2087

Just ignore the warning messages about the security. It's just as secure as with an official SSL certificate. Your browser just objects because it cannot verify the authenticity.
