Is it possible to add password protection to gzip files made by WHM backup script?

Why? Backup files aren't publicly web accessible and also aren't accessible by other user
ftp logins using the default permissions when generated.

If you want more security, you can always adjust the permissions on the backup file
and set the backup to a specific user / group with no read permissions at all.

    I've asked "Is it possible".

    So is it or not?
