    I plan on purchasing a reseller key and installing cpanel/whm on my new server but I just have some questions regarding best security setup etc.

    Will it be more secure to configure a separate Domain/IP for WHM/Cpanel/DNS etc than to have it all on the same IP as my client data/applications/emails?

    Example
    IP1 -> CPANEL WHM SSH DNS, ETC (On a seperate domain)
    IP2 -> WEBSITES & APPS

    Thanks

    Hello,

    I don't know of any specific security advantages that would offer. It's common to see accounts, the hostname, and name servers utilizing the same IP address.

    Thank you.
