I would like to respectfully request that a new forum be started that deals specifically with cpanel/whm security issues.

One stop shopping for us paranoid folk...

It could be a good idea , but I think that Darkorb will never create it , because if we start to talk about security we will never finish :D ... there could be tons of problems to discute ..

I think such a forum would be a GREAT idea...

Also, CPanel and WHM are bad topics IMHO.

Often, we are confused as to where to post, and the subjects are all messed up...

Maybe more categories, such as :

    - DNS, Routing, Accessing a web page, apache, etc...
    - E-mail ( exim, sendmail, SMTP, POP, Anti-Virus, etc... )
    - Security
    - Database and programming ( PHP, PERL, CGI, Python,etc.. )
    - Cpanel control panel ( options of CPanel )
    - WHM Control panel ( options of WHM )
    - Backend scripts.

It would be fine IF this forum were just for people who license cPanel. But remember anyone can signup to these forums.

I really do not like saying " Hey everyone look at this gapping security hole you can exploit" Now anyone and everyone can take advantage of that exploit.

Not a good idea, unless you want to have more system trouble from hackers and tinkerers.

I think it is a good idea, I hate seeing the exploits / holes posted in public. Some sort of private forum would be great.

Restricting this forum to license holder would be a GREAT idea...

I have some users who browse these forums and complain that some feature I say is not available, is available according to someone else...

I even get links to threads !!!

Yet, sometimes there is a GOOD reason why I won't do it...
