Yahoo recommends segregating IP addresses when sending to them. http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/postmaster/postmaster-15.html Is there a way to configure exim in whm on a dedicated server to send through different IPs?

The segregation I would like to do would be something like forwarding to a yahoo account would go through an alternate IP (maybe even depending on who is forwarding) and our users sending directly to a yahoo account going through the main IP.

If I understand you correctly, you want to segregate IP addresses (send mailman, forwarders and reguar mail traffic from different IPs) and segregate further based on who is forwarding a message?

    More on segregating

    Thanks for your reply.

We are not running Mailman, but that would be a great thing to segregate.

I want to be able to segregate at least two types of IPs:
    1) Clients emailing someone at yahoo.
    2) Clients with a forward to a yahoo address.

We have some clients that forward to yahoo that have signed up for all sorts of email on the web that looks spammy. This hurts the reputation of the IP and I would love to have these sent on their own IP.

Our dedicated server has 5 IPs. We use 2 or 3 right now.

Thanks for any help on this.

Email segregation is not supported at this time.
