semi newbie using command line

hi there it has been a while using command line for me (ever since i started renting a cpanel server)

i need to install some libraries to run a video script, but they aren't available in the rpm package list (some are)
what i need is MediaInfo available here MediaInfo - Download
(yes im on a centos server)
can i just use command line -i (package).rpm type install with secure crt?
(the package must be installed from a url)
it requires 3 libraries

i just don't want to mess up my server
