Been using POWWEB ops for a while and I now have a friend using cpanel. One feature in POWWEB I like is having a copy of each email sent to a gmail account as a backup repository. In POWWEB's custom panel I can forward (that is the term they use) a copy of each email to numerous other email addresses. How do I do the same thing with cpanel. Note I still want the original email to stay on the server until my friend downloads it through Outlook

Just add a Cpanel "forwarder' for the same address as the mailbox. Then one copy will go into the mailbox and another copy will get forwarded.
these process will have a result like these..

the account [email protected] already exists!

and email forwarder will not be redirected...
