Sender Verification Callouts - Whitelist?

Hey there community,

I've recently enabled Sender Verification Callouts and while all is running smoothly, there is one domain I'm having issues with - it's a customer RSS feed for toll reporting (important) so I want to whitelist that IP and therefore skip the callout portion.

Error:

Could not complete sender verify callout: : could not connect: Connection timed out

I've added the IP address to:

Sender verification bypass IP addresses
Trusted SMTP IP addresses

Is there an alternate means of whitelisting an IP address against these particular checks?

Hi @KrisG

The only way to bypass the sender verification is to add in the section you did - you need to be sure that you're adding the MX IP as well as the IP address/es of the site. It's possible they have more than one that they send from. You might check with the company to find out what their full range of IP's they send from may be.

Thank you @cPanelLauren, I had only added the MX IP, I'll take a look at their SPF record and see if there are any other beyond their site IP and add that.
