Hello,

I was playing around with some email settings that were not workign the other day and per the advise on this forum I did a upcp --force. I now got stuck with cp 11 and even worse email problems.

Right now i cannot send email to certain domains as they get rejected. this is one of the rejected emails headers:
Code:
This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

[email protected]
SMTP error from remote mail server after RCPT TO:
<[email protected]>:
host mxi3s.craigslist.org [66.150.243.3]: 554 <ip-72-55-156-23.static.privatedns.com[72.55.156.23]>:
Client host rejected: Please use SMTP relay of your ISP or setup non-generic DNS..

------ This is a copy of the message, including all the headers. ------ Return-path: <[email protected]> Received: from nobody by alpha.mydomain.com with local (Exim 4.66) (envelope-from <[email protected]>) id 1HxolY-0000eJ-Mg for [email protected]; Mon, 11 Jun 2007 11:37:24 -0700 To: Gigs 349114238 <[email protected]>
I am also having trouble receiving mail from some addresses but not other. Please help as this is getting really frustrating.

When I try to send email to a hotmail address nothing arrives at the other end but this is what shows in the log:
Code:
2007-06-11 12:08:03 1HxpFD-0000rU-6Y <= [email protected] U=nobody P=local S=597 [email protected]
2007-06-11 12:08:03 1HxpFD-0000rU-6Y => [email protected] R=lookuphost T=remote_smtp H=mx2.hotmail.com [65.54.244.168]
2007-06-11 12:08:03 1HxpFD-0000rU-6Y Completed

My problem just got weirder... I just received a test email that a friend of mine sent me about 2 hours ago, with the correct timestamp and everything. I had checked the queues and there was nothing there it was just delivered suddenly. I hope this can help in diagnosing my problem.

I have another server that is in the same block and same specs that is not ecperiencing any problems.

Ok I have one more thing to add to this. Maybe this can help. If I send an email from a hotmail account to my email on the server and then reply to it the email is received back at hotmail. However, if i just create an email from the server and send it to hotmail then the email is never received.
