I would like to know if its possible to send custom subject in Cron emails.

Normally when a Cronjob is executed and the Cpanel Cron emailer generates a subject line of this form:
    Cron <username@...> <command>

Instead of this, I want to send a custom subject line. Is this possible?

To give a background, my cron invokes a php script. Currently, the script buffers all its standard output and emails it with a custom subject line to a hardcoded list of recipients using the php mail() function. So this does not use the Cpanel's Cron emailer at all. If I use the emailer I won't have to hardcode the recipients in script but I can't seem to specify the subject line.

    Please let me know.
