He's typing in the email address to Outlook, and adding the quotes to the actual email address? Why would he need to do that?

I'm unclear on your reply. You can't add single quotes to an email address, it's not part of the email address.

    Hello,

You'd need to look into an Outlook script or plugin that can remove the quotes. Otherwise, Exim won't detect it as a valid email account.

    Thank you.
