    Hello,

one of our client domain.com is not able to send emails to any id on wipro.com & getting following bounce message

when i try to disable CSF & asked client to send email to above id, and it works, conclusion is CSF is blocking wipro.com ,

we have checked their MX ips in blocked list in CSF, its not there, we have allowed their following IPS in CSF allowed list which is
listed in wipro.com's DNS & enabled firewall, still emails are not going.

    wipro-chn-mx01.wipro.com - 203.91.208.3
    wipro-chn-mx02.wipro.com - 203.91.208.4
    wipro-blr-mx01.wipro.com - 203.91.198.68
    wipro-blr-mx02.wipro.com - 203.91.198.69

what could be the reason for that ?

If you had somebody log in and look at your machine, check your .bash_history file. If they didn't remove the content or didn't 'sh' after they log in, you should see the history of what they did.

You could also log in as root and just type history and look and see what was done that you didn't type in - then you know what they typed in.

can you explain how to check .bash_history file ?

suppose this IP 11.111.11.111 belongs from our data center. So, how can i get logs from this IP .bash_history

I know history command & i am unable to guess what they did because, it mixed up all content of ours & theirs

"history" is going to reveal what's in .bash_history. It's also just a file located in your ~ directory -- /root/.bash_history . And you're right, you sometimes have to play guessing games to figure out where one person's history left off and another started. that's just the way it goes.

There are many reasons for the email services to stop working.. & that too all of a sudden. I'd suggest you to contact & ask the datacenter about what they did on your server :) I don't think they'd ever deny on whatever steps they took to overcome this problem..
