Sending of passwords failed

    When I try to login to my email through my email client I receive
    "Sending of password did not succeed. Mail server mail.xxxxxxxx.com responded: Login failed."

    When I try to login through webmail, I enter the password it gives me failed attempt error. I restarted EXIM and that did not fix it, anyone know what it is wrong?

    Have you tried to reset the password from WHM? (Assuming you cannot login to the cPanel account without a password.)

    I can get into cPanel, but not the email accounts.

    Logging into all email accounts uses full email address as login name. If that's what you're using, full email address and password and it's failing, try resetting that email account's password by logging in as the cPanel user and edit/change the password.

    I have tried the full email account and just the username, and the link in webmail and reset the password. All are failing.

    I have the same issue. This happen after I did whm to whm transfer server. Even I reset the password inside cpanel still its giving error on both webmail and outlook. account authentication failed.

    anyone can help us?
