We are trying to block spammers, but can't because MailScanner does not seem to be starting.

Everytime I try to start MailScanner (/usr/mailscanner/bin/rc.MailScanner start), I get the following error:

sendmail-clientmqueueexim abandoned: unknown, malformed, or incomplete option -L

Any thoughts on where this -L option is being specified? I looked in rc.MailScanner and there is nothing there with a '-L' option.

Sounds like you're using the rpm version of MailScanner which won't work unless you reconfigure it for exim since cPanel doesn't use sendmail.

Thanks for the reply, but we are using FreeBSD and not Linux. I was interested in possibly using your services to configure it for us, but you don't seem to support FreeBSD.
